Florida...ummm

Yes...Florida...this week has been one of the most encouraging, invigorating and self-realizing weeks of my life.  I have throughly enjoyed my time here...yes I am still here.   In fact here for a little while longer.  lol...maybe years to come.  Who knows, I am just waiting to see if I get any hits from the Jacksonville area.  I applied to a few places, and ALMOST bought a new Malibu.  Kari, I promise I won't buy the SAME exact one as you. tee hee.  I do LOVE your car though. 

As I write this, my little niece who is 1 1/2, Alana Marie is sleeping for her afternoon nap.  Pat and Heather left yesterday to Orlando for their 5th Anniversary.  I have breathed in every moment with this little one.  We have gone to the pool twice now, met friends, played outside in the Florida sun, laid on the couch together, and danced to Josh Groban & Andrea Bocelli.  I was practicing some of my younger years of ballet and Alana was mimicking me. She got quite dizzy and fell down many times. She even reached her hands out and we both twirled:)....Last night before bed, Alana laid on my stomach holding her sippy cup and we sang.  lol...It was dear and precious to me, and I will forever remember the feeling.  She has called me mama countless times...which I then correct her, but ahhhhhhhh...I know I am far from having kids, but I can't wait to have one either.  Sometimes I feel like I learn more for a child than anyone else.  For instance, Alana...she can change her moods in seconds.  If she is frustrated with something, seconds after it is fixed, she is on to the next happy thing.  I wish I was like that. lol

Well, I am going to clean the house before they return home tonight.  Life is changing as we know it!  I ask a favor of my family and close friends, please keep me in your prayers.  I have huge decisions to make in the next month, that determine my course for the next few years.  I don't want to miss God.  Please pray that I have ears to hear and the faith to pursue.  I love you all very much!  Keep in touch!
